The Uprising…

“It’s interesting to see a band come together and the first thing they do is create and produce together. We came in as three producers, three writers, three players. We went into the laboratory to produce the best thing we could and here we are. What an interesting way to start a relationship. Personally I feel we’ve created something very special that will stand the test of time – it’s my best work to date.”

Music is the most powerful entity know to man. The power of (REAL/TRUE) music is magical. It has the power to refocus your soul into vessel of pure energy and happiness. Thank you so very much John Butler for that truly extraordinary magical rendition of oceans at Red Rocks (Colorado) last year and making available for me to recreate that magical experience over and over again by posting it online. I am sad that I won't be able to see you live this year unless you add a show in Chicago. Peace and Love always, Thank you again for making inspirational music!

oceans is the most humanistic piece of music i have ever had the pleasure and priviledge to experience i close my eyes when i listen and a universal conversation takes place with historical visions of past present and future times you people bring an amazingly joyful heartfelt and mindful insight to humanity and the place we all take within it i hope your musical expressions have touched the centre and the peripheral of other peoples lives as much as you have mine and my daughter deb and danielle love to my brothers who encouraged me to first listen peace love and respect to you all

    Yo!
Wanted to tell you, you're a great band! I recently started my first year at the university (Biology), and I spread the word about the Kimberley, Tasmania etc… Great work, keep it up. We need to stand up against those stingy people who only think of their wallet and does not care whether nature gets destroyed or not. I also introduced you to all my friends and they're very eager about your music. You've got some new fans now and we look forward to your next concert here in Holland!!!

Oh yeah, damn Ocean is hard to play, but I keep trying :)

Peace to you and all the fans :D

I am not too happy with you JBT. You are going to cost me so much to see you if you don't quickly make some new U.S. dates. I'm sure it will be more than worth it to go to Europe and see you. Hopefully this will be sooner than later. I have just recently found out about you guys and wow… Finally a band that can make me proudly claim to be a fan. Thank you.

    Hey guys,

My name is Michael, and for a while now I've been dealing with moderate to severe anxiety.
I just came here to thank you guys for helping me get through this difficult time.
Whether I'm down and just need a positive boost to get me through the day, or happy and just want some tunes to celebrate to, or I just need some kind of inspiration to keep me going, you guys can do it like nobody else.
You guys inspire me to become a more confident, better person, and I don't think anybody else has that effect on me.
So to John, Shannon, Michael, Nicky, Byron, and all past members of the JBT that I haven't mentioned here, thank you for making awesome music and promoting your healthy lifestyles and good attitudes.

    Michael

Went to a few shows in 2010/11 Joe Cocker, Guns and Roses, but my girls and I reckon the JBT show at ReggaeTown in Cairns was the best, got talked into standing right at the front, which meant staying there for 3 hours but was right in front of the man so it was excellent, bawled my eyes out for Ocean, please don't leaving our Australian shores forever you guys!!!
