UPDATE Sept 29th: Live at lollapalooza is now available in Australia and NZ on iTunes with 3 song bonus live video.

We have been assured by iTunes the correct version of the album will be up on October 6 with the free videos.
We are working on ways to be able to get the free videos to those people who have already purchased Live At Lolla.
John Butler Trio’s epic full set at Lollapalooza ‘08 will be made available exclusively through iTunes on Tuesday Sept 22nd, except in Australia and New Zealand when it will be released on Sept 29th.
A three song video featuring Ocean, Treat Yo Mama and Funky Tonight will be given away as a bonus with each iTunes purchase.
Please note: not all European countries are able to access Video downloads through iTunes

Whoa cool, I was in the front of the audience. Too bad they didn’t release a recording of him playing at Kid-a-palooza with his daughter right before the concert. That was incredibly sweet.
Ocean is absolutely incredible. I was mesmerized by the music. I posted it before finishing listening and the responses have been the same. Thank you!
Will the videos be available in the U.S. iTunes store soon or ever? I want to get this live album (especially since I was at Lolla last year) and want to get the best version possible.

I think iTunes screwed that up. The album is listed under “The John Butler Trio” but the videos are listed separately for individual sale under “John Butler Trio”. I e-mailed iTunes support about it and linked to this story, and they gave me three video credits to buy the videos with. You can probably do the same.
Ok, Nevermind, Someone on the fan forum said you have to search iTunes under “The John Butler Trio”…(you need the word THE) otherwise you can’t really find it. Thanks.
